Your strength problem isn’t about strength

Quick story:

One of my clients, Stefanie, had a pelvic fracture after falling off a hors a few years back.

On paper, she was “healed.”
But in real life? She was scared.

Every step felt like a threat.

Her mind constantly second-guessed her body.
And the real issue wasn’t mobility or strength — it was fear. Nervous system sensitivity. A total lack of trust.

She’d seen multiple doctors and PTs.
None of them addressed the psychological piece.

They gave her exercises — but not the coaching, not the reassurance, not the space to talk through what her brain and body were still holding onto.

We spent a lot of time — not just training — but having honest, layered conversations about her fear.

Because if you can’t be honest with your provider about what’s going on in your head…
